2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante

The Urus is Lamborghini's take on a super SUV, a tall-riding machine that still looks unmistakably like a Lambo. It drives with the urgency you'd expect from the brand, though it's a big, heavy thing that takes a moment to settle into corners. Inside, the cabin is a mix of sharp angles, carbon fiber, and plenty of leather, with room for four and a usable cargo area behind. Expect running costs to be steep, with premium fuel, frequent tire changes, and servicing that's priced like the badge on the hood. The Performante is the sharper, track-focused Urus, trading some ride comfort for a stiffer suspension and more aggressive aero than the S. Its 4.0L V8 makes 657 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that hurls it to 60 mph in about 3.3 seconds. Standard 22-inch wheels and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust give the Performante a sharper look and a louder voice than the standard car.
