Miles Overview
It's a car that rewards smooth inputs, with a chassis that feels alive and communicates every bit of the road through the steering wheel. The cabin is snug but well laid out, with a low seating position and a clear view over the hood, and the power soft top stows quickly when you want the full experience. Running costs are serious, with the timing belt service and clutch wear being the big ones to budget for, but the engine's reliability is well proven. The 360 Spider is the open-air version of the coupe, and you give up a little structural rigidity for the experience of driving with the top down. The 3.6L V8 in the 360 Spider makes 400 horsepower, and the six-speed automatic shifts smoothly but doesn't replace a gated manual for engagement.
