This is the base F12berlinetta, Ferrari's front-engined V12 grand tourer that shares its platform with no other model in the 2014 lineup. Its 6.3L I12 makes 730 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to the rear wheels, with a soundtrack that crescendos toward 8,500 rpm and fuel economy of 13 mpg combined. The handling package includes magnetorheological dampers that stiffen in Track mode, but on rough roads the ride is uncompromisingly firm.
