Miles Overview
The steering is quick and precise, and the chassis communicates every bit of grip, so you always know what the car is doing. The cabin is driver-focused, with controls on the steering wheel and a clear view over the fenders, though it's snug for taller drivers. The 458 Italia is the mid-engine V8 coupe that defined Ferrari's entry-level supercar for this era, with no less powerful sibling below it in the lineup. Its 4.5L I8 makes 562 horsepower and revs to 9000 rpm, giving it a shrieking top-end rush that you feel in your chest through the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The optional handling package adds magnetorheological dampers that sharpen turn-in without ruining the ride on rough roads.
