Miles Overview
The ride is firm but controlled, and the retractable hardtop keeps wind noise low with the roof up. There's a small frunk and a modest rear shelf, so plan for weekend bags rather than a full set of luggage. The 296 GTS is the open-top version of Ferrari's mid-engine hybrid; if you want the coupe's sharper lines and fixed roof, look at the 296 GTB. Its 3.0L V6 plug-in hybrid and electric motor combine for 654 horsepower sent through an automatic transmission to the rear wheels, so you get instant throttle response and a dramatic V6 wail. The retractable hardtop stows in 14 seconds at speeds up to 28 mph, letting you hear that engine note without the roof overhead.
