Miles Overview
The 500X is Fiat's subcompact crossover, offering a roomier, more rugged alternative to the 500 hatchback. It rides smoothly on pavement and handles light off-roading well, with a willing engine that moves it along briskly. Inside, the cabin keeps the 500's fun styling, with decent front-seat space but a tight second row. The Sport trim is the sporty-looking pick in the lineup, with dark exterior accents and 18-inch wheels that set it apart from the Trekking. Its 1.3L I4 makes 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that get you 26 mpg combined. The Sport gets a touring suspension tuned for comfort, so it soaks up bumps well but doesn't feel as tied down as a firmer setup would.
