2022 RAM ProMaster City Tradesman

The ProMaster City is Ram's compact work van, a smaller sibling to the full-size ProMaster built for tight city streets and light cargo duty. It squares off against the Ford Transit Connect and Nissan NV200, with the Ram offering a more car-like driving experience than either. The van feels nimble around town, with light steering and a tight turning circle that make parking and maneuvering easy. Inside, the ProMaster City offers a practical cabin with a tall roof and a flat load floor, plus a 60/40 split rear seat that folds flat for cargo. The Tradesman is the straightforward choice for buyers who want a capable work van without extras; the SLT adds more comfort features if you need them. Its 2.4L I4 makes 178 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic, giving it enough punch for city deliveries and highway cruising, and it returns 24 mpg combined. The Tradesman comes with steel wheels and manual mirrors, keeping the price low, and the rear seats fold flat for a long cargo floor.
