Miles Overview
The Stelvio is Alfa Romeo's compact luxury SUV, the one you cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 when you want something with more Italian flair. You'll notice the steering is quick and the chassis feels eager, so it's genuinely fun to hustle down a back road. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but it settles down on the highway. Inside, the cabin uses rich materials and a driver-focused layout, though rear legroom is a bit tight for the class. The Sport is the entry point to the Stelvio lineup, sitting below the Ti Sport and the fire-breathing Quadrifoglio. Its 2.0L I4 makes 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque, sent through a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it'll return 24 mpg combined. The Alfa DNA drive mode selector lets you sharpen the throttle and steering response, and the carbon-fiber driveshaft helps it feel light on its feet.
