Miles Overview
The Tonale is Alfa Romeo's compact luxury SUV, the smallest crossover in the lineup and the one that brings the brand's character to a more practical footprint. It drives with the sharp steering and poised chassis you expect from Alfa, making it more engaging than most rivals in this class. Inside, the cabin is well-built with quality materials and a clean, driver-focused layout, though rear-seat space is a bit tight for taller adults. Standard tech includes a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Base sits below the Intensa Sprint in the Tonale lineup, trading the plug-in hybrid powertrain for a conventional gasoline engine and a lower starting price. It uses a 2.0L I4 with 268 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels through all-wheel drive; the EPA rates it at 24 mpg combined. The optional Premium Package adds a power moonroof, ventilated front seats, and a hands-free power liftgate for extra convenience.
