Miles Overview
This is the convertible Alfa Romeo that defined affordable Italian roadster style for decades. The steering is quick and talkative, and the chassis feels balanced and eager on a back road. The cabin is snug and driver-focused, with a low seating position and a classic three-spoke steering wheel. Rust is the main concern on these cars, so a thorough inspection of the floors and sills is wise. The Quadrifoglio adds a deeper front air dam, a rear spoiler, and a more aggressive suspension tune over the standard Spider. Its 2.0L I4 pairs with a five-speed manual for a lively, rev-happy character that rewards a firm hand on the shifter. The Quadrifoglio's stiffer springs and anti-roll bars make it corner flatter, but the ride is noticeably firmer on rough pavement.
