Miles Overview
The Ghibli is Maserati's mid-size luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. It's a driver's car, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The cabin wraps you in Italian leather and trim, though rear legroom is tighter than some rivals. The Modena drops the Trofeo's V8 and all-wheel drive for the standard 3.0L V6, saving around thirty grand and keeping the rear-drive chassis lively. With 424 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque channeled through the eight-speed automatic, it's quick and sonorous, though you'll see about 20 mpg combined around town. The Modena's standard sport-tuned suspension is firmer than the GT's, so expect a taut ride that pays off when you push it through corners.
