Miles Overview
The 2024 XC40 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, slotting below the XC60 and competing with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. The XC40 drives with a composed, planted feel, and the steering is light but accurate enough for city and highway work. Inside, the cabin is neatly styled with quality materials, and the upright seating gives a commanding view of the road. Cargo space is generous for the class, and the boxy shape makes loading bulky items easy. Stepping up to the Ultimate gets you the full Volvo treatment, with the top-tier equipment and the most powerful drivetrain in the XC40 range. The dual-motor electric setup sends 402 horsepower to all four wheels, so acceleration is instant and grip is tenacious in any weather.
