Miles Overview
The EX40 is Volvo's compact electric SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Tesla Model Y and the Audi Q4 e-tron. It drives with a smooth, planted feel, and the dual-motor versions are genuinely quick when you need to merge. The cabin is a calm, minimalist place with comfortable seats and a clean layout that's easy to live with daily. Cargo space is decent for the class, and the rear seats fold flat to swallow bulky loads when you need them to. The Plus is the rear-wheel-drive single-motor EX40; it's the slowest of the three, but you get the longest range and the lowest starting price. Its electric motor makes 248 horsepower, which is plenty for everyday driving, and the 296 miles of range means you can go a full week without plugging in.
