Miles Overview
The C40 is Volvo's compact electric crossover, the coupe-styled sibling to the XC40 Recharge. With its low center of gravity and quick steering, the C40 feels nimble for an EV crossover. The cabin is typically Volvo: minimalist, with comfortable seats and a clean, uncluttered dashboard. The sloping roofline cuts into rear headroom and cargo space, so it's less practical than the XC40. Stepping up to the Ultimate adds a Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic roof, and upgraded interior trim. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup makes 402 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque, so it launches hard and grips well in any weather. The Ultimate can be ordered with a heat pump, which improves cold-weather range by reducing battery heating draw.
