Miles Overview
The XC60 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, the one that sits between the smaller XC40 and the larger XC90. It drives with a calm, composed feel, and the steering is light but accurate, making it easy to place on the road. The ride is smooth and well-controlled, soaking up most bumps without feeling floaty, though the R-Design's sportier suspension is firmer. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, minimalist space with comfortable seats and a clean, vertical touchscreen that controls most functions. The Inscription Expression is the entry point to the T8 plug-in hybrid, skipping some of the Inscription's luxury extras to keep the price down. Under the hood is a 2.0L I4 plug-in hybrid making 313 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, and it returns 27 mpg combined. This trim's plug-in hybrid system lets you drive short distances on electric power alone, which is handy for errands around town.
