Miles Overview
The XC90 is Volvo's three-row luxury SUV, the one that competes with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7. It drives with a composed, planted feel, though the ride can be busy on rough pavement. Inside, you get a beautifully minimalist cabin with comfortable seats and a large touchscreen that controls most functions. With three rows, it seats up to seven, and the rear seats fold flat to open up generous cargo space. The Inscription trim adds leather upholstery, wood inlays, and a more premium cabin feel over the R-Design. Its 2.0L I4 plug-in hybrid makes 313 horsepower and can run on electric power alone for short trips, with all-wheel drive standard. The T8's plug-in hybrid system lets you charge at home, and the combined fuel economy is strong for a three-row SUV.
