Miles Overview
The XC90 is Volvo's three-row family SUV, the one that made the brand's modern revival stick. It drives with a calm, planted feel that suits long highway miles, though it's not what you'd call sporty. Inside, the cabin is a genuinely nice place to spend time, with comfortable seats and a clean, airy layout. Reliability is a mixed bag; the mechanical bits are stout, but electronics and air suspension can be finicky as they age. The T8 Inscription Expression drops the Inscription's nicer trim details to save you money, but keeps the same plug-in hybrid powertrain. Its 2.0L I4 plug-in hybrid makes 313 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, and returns 27 mpg combined.
