Miles Overview
The XC60 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It drives with a calm, composed feel, and the steering is light but accurate enough for everyday use. The ride is on the firm side, especially with larger wheels, but it stays comfortable on most roads. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, minimalist space with comfortable seats and a clean, modern layout. The R-Design is the sporty one in the XC60 lineup, with a stiffer suspension and darker exterior trim that set it apart from the more comfort-oriented Inscription. Its 2.0L I4 makes 316 horsepower and pairs with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving it strong highway passing power and a willing, responsive feel around town. Expect a firmer ride than the Inscription, especially on the standard 20-inch wheels, but the trade-off is sharper cornering and more steering feedback.
