Miles Overview
The XC60 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, the one that sits between the smaller XC40 and the larger XC90. It drives with a calm, composed feel, and the steering is light but accurate, making it easy to place on the road. The ride is smooth and well-controlled, soaking up most bumps without feeling floaty, though the R-Design's sportier suspension is firmer. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, minimalist space with comfortable seats and a clean, vertical touchscreen that controls most functions. The Inscription trim adds a layer of luxury, with leather upholstery, wood inlays, and front seats that are both heated and ventilated. Its 2.0L I4 makes 316 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through an all-wheel drive system and eight-speed automatic that always feels smooth and ready. At 23 mpg combined, you're trading some fuel efficiency for the extra power over the T5, but the ride stays composed on any surface.
