Miles Overview
The XC60 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, the one that goes up against the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It drives smaller than it looks, with a composed, planted feel that makes it easy to place in traffic. Inside, the seats are genuinely comfortable for long trips, and the rear legroom is snug for taller adults. Service costs run higher than average, and some owners find it worth using an independent Volvo specialist. The Platinum trim adds leather upholstery, navigation, and a premium sound system over the Premier Plus, making it the most well-equipped non-R-Design XC60. Its 2.5L I5 makes 250 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which gives it strong highway passing power and sure-footed traction. The standard all-wheel drive uses instant, computer-controlled torque split to each wheel, which owners say pays off on wet or snowy roads.
