Miles Overview
The S60 Cross Country is the lifted, all-wheel-drive version of Volvo’s compact sedan, built for snow and gravel roads. It rides higher than a regular S60, which gives you a better view of the road and more confidence on rough pavement. Inside, you get the same clean, comfortable cabin as the regular S60, with supportive seats and intuitive controls. The raised suspension and plastic cladding mean you can take this sedan on dirt roads without worrying about scrapes. The Platinum is the top trim for the Cross Country, adding leather upholstery and a Harman Kardon stereo over the base T5. The 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, and the eight-speed automatic works with the all-wheel drive to give you confident traction in rain or snow. Expect around 25 mpg combined in mixed driving, which is reasonable for a lifted all-wheel-drive sedan.
