Miles Overview
The XC40 is Volvo's entry-level SUV, a compact crossover that's a bit more stylish than the typical small utility. It's a genuinely fun little SUV to drive, with quick steering and a chassis that feels eager in corners. Inside, the cabin is a highlight, with a clean, modern design and clever storage touches like the under-seat tray. Cargo space is decent for the class, and the boxy shape makes it easy to load bulky items. Sport seats and a stiffer suspension set the R-Design apart from the Momentum and Inscription trims, giving it a more aggressive look and feel. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and pairs with eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives it punchy acceleration off the line and confident grip in all weather.
