Miles Overview
The XC60 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, the one that competes with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. It drives more like a sedan than a tall SUV, with a composed ride and responsive steering that make it easy to live with daily. The cabin is a highlight, with a clean Scandinavian design, comfortable seats, and a large touchscreen that controls most functions. Rear legroom is a bit tight for taller passengers, but the cargo area is practical for everyday use. The R-Design adds sporty styling and a firmer suspension over the Momentum, but you give up the Inscription's wood trim and softer ride. Its 2.0L I4 makes 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for confident all-weather traction. The R-Design's sport-tuned chassis is stiffer than other XC60 trims, which sharpens cornering but makes the ride firmer over bumps.
