Miles Overview
The XC60 is Volvo's compact luxury SUV, the one most people cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. It's a calm, comfortable cruiser rather than a sporty handler, with light steering and a smooth ride that suits daily driving. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, minimalist space with supportive seats and a clean dashboard that puts the big touchscreen front and center. Cargo space is about average for the class, and the rear seats fold flat to open up room for larger loads. The B6 R-Design gives up the T8 plug-in's electric range for a lower starting price and strong highway fuel economy. Its 2.0L I4 hybrid makes 295 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque routed to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic, a combo that pulls smoothly from a stop and doesn't hunt for gears on the highway.
