Miles Overview
The 2024 XC90 is Volvo's three-row luxury SUV, blending Scandinavian minimalism with family-friendly practicality. It competes with the Audi Q7, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE, offering a calmer, more understated alternative. The XC90 drives with a composed, secure feel, though the steering is light and the focus is comfort over sportiness. Inside, the cabin is a serene space with supportive seats, quality materials, and room for up to seven passengers. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a full suite of driver aids. Stepping up to the B6 Core from the B5 models gets you a stronger 2.0L I4 hybrid with 295 horsepower and a mild-hybrid system that smooths stop-start. The 2.0L I4 hybrid pairs with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering confident all-weather traction and a composed ride that's easy to live with day to day. The Core trim keeps things straightforward with cloth upholstery and standard LED lighting, so you get the upgraded powertrain without the luxury extras.
