Miles Overview
The V50 is Volvo's compact wagon, a practical alternative to the BMW 3 Series wagon or Audi A4 Avant. It handles with a planted, confidence-inspiring feel that makes it genuinely enjoyable on a winding road. The cabin is a highlight, with supportive seats and a clean, driver-focused dashboard that still looks modern. The rear seats fold flat for a usefully large cargo area, though rear legroom is tight for adults on longer trips. Its 2.5L I5 makes 227 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the front wheels, delivering eager acceleration and 24 mpg combined. The T5's standard Dynamic chassis tuning gives it a firmer, more responsive feel than the base suspension on lesser trims.
