Miles Overview
The C70 is Volvo's retractable-hardtop convertible, a four-seat cruiser that trades sportiness for Scandinavian comfort. It's more of a relaxed tourer than a corner-carver, but the ride stays composed and the hardtop keeps things quiet with the roof up. Unlike many convertibles, the C70 actually seats four adults and offers a surprisingly usable trunk even with the top stowed. Some owners note the paint chips easily and the interior shows wear sooner than expected, so it's worth a close look before you buy. The T5 is the only C70 trim, so you get the full convertible experience without having to choose between options packages. A 2.5L I5 makes 227 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the front wheels, and it returns 23 mpg combined. The three-piece retractable hardtop folds in about 30 seconds, and the trunk still holds 12.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the roof down.
