Miles Overview
The e-Golf is Volkswagen's all-electric hatchback, a zero-emission take on the familiar Golf that swaps the gas tank for a battery pack. Inside, you get the same well-built Golf cabin with plenty of room for four and a decent cargo area. Owners love the money saved on fuel, though charging takes time and the resale value is expected to be low. A heat pump and a fast-charging port distinguish the Limited Edition from the base e-Golf, making cold-weather and quick top-ups easier. The electric motor makes 115 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque, sent through a continuously variable automatic (CVT) to the front-wheel drive, giving you 83 miles of range of range. The Limited Edition can also be ordered with a DC fast-charging port, which cuts charge time significantly on long trips.
