Miles Overview
The CC is Volkswagen's four-door gran coupe, a sleeker, lower-slung alternative to the Passat with a coupe-like roofline. It drives with a composed, planted feel on the highway, though the ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for its sporty character. Inside, the cabin is roomy for four, with comfortable seats and a trunk that swallows a surprising amount of luggage. Some owners mention the factory tires wear quickly, and a few report a vibration at highway speeds, so it's worth a test drive at speed. The Sport is the entry-level CC, giving up the R Line Executive's sportier styling and upgraded audio for a lower starting price. The 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering a smooth pull from low revs that suits daily driving. Fuel economy is a strong point at 25 mpg combined, and the firm ride from the sport-tuned suspension is part of the car's character.
