Miles Overview
It's a blast to drive, with a throaty engine note and grip that lets you corner with real confidence. Inside, the R32 gets supportive seats and a clean, driver-focused layout, though rear visibility has some blind spots you'll adapt to. Owners report solid reliability with just routine maintenance, but be ready for higher running costs than a typical Golf. All-wheel drive and the sonorous 3.2L I6 set the R32 apart from the front-drive GTI and standard Golf. Its 3.2L I6 makes 250 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to all four wheels for tenacious grip in any weather. The hatchback body gives you 43.4 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, making it a true hot hatch you can live with daily.
