Miles Overview
The GTI is VW's hot hatch, the one that practically invented the segment and still defines it. The steering is quick and precise, and the car stays flat through corners, making it a joy to hustle. Inside, the plaid seats and flat-bottom wheel give it a sporty feel, and the hatchback layout makes it surprisingly practical. The Autobahn trim adds leather upholstery, a sunroof, and bi-xenon headlights over the base GTI, making it the top-tier choice. Its 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed manual is a joy to row through the gears; expect 25 mpg combined in mixed driving.
