Miles Overview
The 2011 GTI is Volkswagen's hot hatch, the one that made the Golf famous for being fun to drive. The steering is sharp and the chassis feels planted, so it's a blast on a back road. Inside, you get a clean, well-built cabin with supportive seats and a practical hatchback layout. The GTI is the sporty version of the Golf, with a firmer suspension, quicker steering, and a more aggressive look than the standard model. Its 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, and with the six-speed automatic it's quick off the line and gets 27 mpg combined.
