Miles Overview
The 2014 Golf is Volkswagen's compact hatchback, the one that competes with the Ford Focus and Mazda3. It feels eager through corners, with a well-calibrated transmission and confident braking that make it a joy on back roads. Inside, the Golf makes clever use of space, offering a roomy cabin and a surprisingly large cargo area for its size. Owners praise the Golf's comfortable ride, useful cubby storage, and the intuitive touchscreen infotainment system. The TDI swaps the gas engine for a torquey 2.0L diesel, giving you the best fuel economy in the Golf lineup.
