Miles Overview
The Eos is Volkswagen's hardtop convertible, a four-seat drop-top that feels more upscale than a typical sun-seeker. It's genuinely fun to drive, with eager acceleration and a satisfying exhaust note that makes every on-ramp a little event. The cabin is snug but nicely finished, with heated front seats and a power-folding hardtop that seals out wind noise well. Owners note the folding roof and windows demand careful maintenance, and repair bills can climb quickly if something breaks. Its turbocharged 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the front wheels. Expect 25 mpg combined, which is reasonable for a hardtop convertible that weighs 3,508 pounds.
