Miles Overview
The Eos is Volkswagen's four-seat hardtop convertible, a rare breed that blends coupe comfort with open-air driving. It's genuinely fun to drive, with a peppy engine and a satisfying roar when you push it on the highway. The folding hardtop is a clever piece of engineering, but it eats into trunk space when stowed, so pack light for weekend trips. Owners love the top's convenience, but they warn that the complex mechanism can be pricey to fix if it acts up, and some report rattles or window glitches. Its 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the front wheels, which is enough to hustle this convertible with a satisfying exhaust note.
