Miles Overview
The Eos is Volkswagen's four-seat hardtop convertible, a rare blend of coupe comfort and open-air driving in a compact package. It's genuinely fun to drive, with a solid feel and a punchy engine that makes highway merging easy. The cabin is a highlight, with a power-folding hardtop and a large sunroof that opens for a breezy feel even with the top up. Owners report that the complex roof mechanism can develop sensor issues and leaks over time, so regular maintenance is key. The Komfort is the entry-level Eos, giving up some luxury features from the LUX while keeping the same powertrain and hardtop roof. Its 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering 25 mpg combined in a front-drive package that feels eager on back roads.
