Miles Overview
The 2013 Tiguan is Volkswagen's compact SUV, a smaller alternative to the Touareg that still feels substantial on the road. It's quick off the line and the steering is tight, so it darts through traffic with a confidence you don't expect from an SUV. Inside, the cabin uses quality materials and the rear seats fold flat to open up a surprising amount of cargo space. Leatherette seats and a power driver seat set the base trim apart from the entry-level models below it. The 2.0L I4 makes 200 horsepower and works with a six-speed automatic, and it feels punchy around town despite front-wheel drive. A panoramic sunroof and navigation were popular options on this trim, adding an airy feel to the cabin.
