Miles Overview
The RS 5 is Audi's mid-size performance coupe and hatchback, going up against the BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63. It's genuinely quick and composed, with Quattro grip that lets you carry serious speed through corners with confidence. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how flat it stays in fast bends, but it's still fine for daily use. Inside, the cabin is beautifully built and tech-rich, with the Virtual Cockpit and a practical hatchback body on the Sportback. The RS 5 coupe shares its 2.9L I6 and Quattro drivetrain with the Sportback, but you get two doors and a more aggressive roofline instead of the hatchback practicality. Its 2.9L I6 makes 444 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that claws into corners with tenacious grip. The coupe's standard sport exhaust lets you hear the engine's snarl more clearly than in the Sportback, and the RS drive modes sharpen the throttle and damping noticeably.
