Miles Overview
The 2024 Macan is Porsche's compact luxury SUV, slotting below the Cayenne and offering a sportier take on the premium crossover. It competes with the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Audi Q5, but with a sharper edge than any of them. The Macan's steering is quick and precise, and its chassis feels remarkably agile for an SUV, making it a joy on twisty roads. The ride is firm, especially on larger wheels, but that tautness is the price of its cornering composure. Inside, the Macan offers a well-built cabin with supportive seats and a driver-focused layout, though rear legroom is tight for the class. The GTS is the one you pick if you want the sharpest handling in the Macan lineup, trading some ride comfort for the adaptive air suspension and sportier tuning that the S doesn't offer. The standard Sport Exhaust System gives the GTS a deeper, more aggressive note than the regular Macan, and the Porsche Surface Coated Brakes with red calipers handle repeated hard stops without fade.
