Miles Overview
The Cayenne is Porsche's first SUV, a luxury midsize that brought sports-car handling to the family-hauler class. It drives with surprising agility for a big SUV, feeling more planted and responsive than you'd expect from something this tall. The ride is comfortable on the highway, though the optional air suspension can feel a bit floaty compared to the standard coils. With seating for five and a generous cargo area, it's a practical daily driver that doesn't sacrifice Porsche character. Its 4.5L I8 makes 340 horsepower and pairs with a smooth automatic transmission, though the fuel economy is what you'd expect from a big V8 SUV at 14 mpg combined. The S rides on steel springs as standard; the optional air suspension adds height adjustment and a plusher highway ride at the cost of some body control.
