2021 Porsche Macan Base

The Macan is Porsche's compact SUV, the one that brings sports-car feel to the crossover class. You'll notice the steering is quick and precise, and the body stays flat through corners, making it feel more like a hot hatch than a tall SUV. The ride is firm, especially on the sportier trims, but that's the trade for how well it handles. Inside, the cabin is well-built with quality materials, though rear-seat space is tight for adults and cargo room is modest. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and pairs with the seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which is plenty for daily driving and returns 21 mpg combined. The Sport Edition package adds sportier looks and a few extras, so if you want a bit more visual punch without stepping up to the S, this is the one.
