2010 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

The 2010 911 is Porsche's rear-engine sports car, the one that sets the benchmark for the class. It's a car that rewards smooth inputs, with steering that feels alive and a chassis that communicates every detail of the road. The cabin is snug but well-built, with a back seat that's really only for kids or extra cargo. Owners report few mechanical issues, though the battery can drain if the car sits for a while. All-wheel drive and the wider rear bodywork distinguish the Carrera 4S from the standard Carrera, giving it more grip and a planted feel. The 3.8L I6 makes 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed manual lets you row through the gears yourself. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes were available on the 4S, and they resist fade better than steel rotors on a track day.
