Miles Overview
The 2007 Boxster is Porsche's entry-level roadster, the one you cross-shop with the BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK. With the engine behind you and a low center of gravity, it turns in eagerly and holds a line with real precision. The ride is firm but never harsh, so you can enjoy a long day of back roads without feeling beaten up. Inside, the cabin is snug but well laid out, with quality materials and a roof that drops quickly when the sun's out. The Boxster S is for drivers who want more punch than the base car offers, with a bigger engine and sharper throttle response that make every on-ramp a treat. Its 3.4L I6 makes 295 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, sending power to the rear wheels for a balanced, engaging drive that rewards smooth inputs. The S also gets larger brakes and a sportier exhaust note, so it sounds as quick as it feels when you push it.
