Miles Overview
The 718 Boxster is Porsche's mid-engine roadster, the one that puts the engine behind you for balance you can feel from the first corner. It's a car that loves to be revved, with a flat-six that sings as you wind it out and a gearbox that makes every shift feel like an event. The steering is quick and talkative, and the chassis stays flat through corners, so you can place the car exactly where you want it. Inside, the cabin is snug but well laid out, with supportive seats and a drop-top that lets you enjoy the exhaust note on every drive. The lowest entry price and the 2.0L I4 set the Base apart from the S and GTS 4.0 trims above it. Its 2.0L I4 makes 300 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive, good for 22 mpg combined.
