Miles Overview
The 2007 Boxster is Porsche's entry-level roadster, the one you cross-shop with the BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK. With the engine behind you and a low center of gravity, it turns in eagerly and holds a line with real precision. The ride is firm but never harsh, so you can enjoy a long day of back roads without feeling beaten up. Inside, the cabin is snug but well laid out, with quality materials and a roof that drops quickly when the sun's out. Its 2.7L I6 makes 245 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, which is smooth but not as quick as the six-speed manual you'd want for this car. The automatic transmission is the main trade-off here; the manual is the enthusiast pick, but the auto makes daily driving easier in traffic.
