Miles Overview
The 911 is Porsche's iconic sports car, a rear-engine coupe or convertible that's been the benchmark for decades. You'll feel the rear-engine balance in every corner, making it one of the most engaging cars you can buy. Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with high-quality materials, though rear seats are tight and best for occasional use. Owners praise the build quality and reliability, noting it's a car you can daily drive without worry. Its 3.8L I6 makes 400 horsepower and pairs with a seven-speed manual that rewards smooth shifts, while rear-wheel drive keeps the steering light and talkative. Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic is available if you prefer quicker shifts, but the manual is the one that connects you to the rear-engine character.
