Miles Overview
The 944 is Porsche's front-engine, rear-drive coupe, a model that blends everyday usability with sports-car handling. You'll appreciate the balanced chassis and communicative steering, which make it a joy on twisty roads. Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with supportive seats and a clean dashboard, though rear seats are tight for adults. With routine maintenance, the 944 is known for solid reliability, but be ready for age-related wear on rubber and electrical bits. Its 2.5L I4 makes 143 horsepower and sends it to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual, giving you a revvy, balanced feel that rewards smooth driving.
