The Taycan is Porsche's first all-electric sedan, and it's also offered as a wagon for extra practicality. It drives like a Porsche should, with instant acceleration and a low center of gravity that makes it feel planted in corners. The ride is firm but controlled, a trade-off for the sharp handling that keeps it engaging on twisty roads. Inside, the cabin is modern and driver-focused, with a curved digital display and high-quality materials throughout. The base Taycan is rear-wheel drive, which makes it lighter on its feet than the AWD 4S and GTS trims. Its single electric motor makes 402 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque, and the two-speed transmission on the rear axle gives it strong off-the-line punch and relaxed highway cruising. The standard steel springs with adaptive dampers ride well, but you can option air suspension for more comfort over broken pavement.
