Miles Overview
The 911 is Porsche's iconic sports car, available as a coupe or convertible, and it's the one that sets the benchmark for the entire segment. You'll feel the road through the steering and seat, and the engine's response is immediate, making every drive feel special. The cabin is snug but well laid out, with supportive bucket seats and a back seat that's really only for small children or extra cargo. Owners mention that tires wear quickly, especially the rears, and some have dealt with water pump or window regulator issues. The base Carrera gives up the S's 95 extra horsepower and larger brakes, but it's still a genuine 911 that costs thousands less. Its 3.6L I6 makes 320 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic sending power to the rear-wheel drive, which delivers 19 mpg combined. The standard suspension is compliant enough for daily use, yet it still lets you feel exactly what the rear tires are doing.
