Miles Overview
The Cayman is Porsche's mid-engine coupe, the model that gives you the brand's sports-car feel without the 911's price tag. It's a dream on curvy roads, with handling that hugs the line and needs little braking through corners. The cabin is comfortable and well-built, though the front and rear trunks are small, so pack light. Owners reported a rare software issue that could cause a stall, but otherwise the car proved reliable. A lower starting price and the 2.9L flat-six set the Base apart from the S, which gets a 3.4L and 55 more horsepower. Paired with the six-speed automatic, the 2.9L I6 pulls smoothly to redline and returns 22 mpg combined.
